Unknown00:02 0 comments

Smiriti Upavan of Chandigarh, India is a beautiful garden filled with trees. It is located between Rock Garden and Sukhna Lake in Sector 1. This garden was set up in 1988 with the view of planting trees for the departed souls. The term Smriti means 'remembrance' and Upavan means 'forest'. In the Chandigarh Smriti Upavan, the first banyan tree was planted by the then adviser Mr. Ashok Pradhan, in the memory of our first prime minister, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Smriti Upavan serves as an apt place for silence and remembrance.

Bt now it is closed from a long time for touristers...and looks like a horror place.... if you go there at night, even in the evening, then u will feel some horror environment there..
